Visits take place on school days from Tuesday to Thursday and from October to June from 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., at the Astronomical Observatory, located in the Paterna-Science Park Research Institutes building of the University of Valencia (first floor of the red building behind À Punt ).
The visits are designed for groups from 3rd grade to all educational levels, as well as for groups with specific needs and other abilities. The maximum capacity of each visit is 30 students.
The visit includes a digital planetarium session and an astronomical workshop of your choice and costs €5 per student.
OUR PLANETARIUM
The planetarium sessions last approximately 1 hour and their contents are customizable. We adapt to the theme of the chosen hands-on activity as well as to the level of the students and their interests.
Through the realism of the graphics and the dynamism of the animations, we provide an immersive experience that will take students around our planet, our Solar System and beyond the galaxy. In this way, we approach concepts from the most fundamental such as day/night or the seasons, to other more advanced ones such as retrograde movements, the behavior of light and spectroscopy, stellar evolution or the formation of planetary systems.
